Biography

My motto is “to be hungry for life”: I will be the “storyteller” of your moments

I live and breath the magic of the Greek theater, I portray the infinite expressions of the faces and the essentiality of the nudes establishing complicity and visceral intimacy with my subjects.

I was born in Siracusa, a city shaped by the sea colors where history takes shape in every corner, street, building or monument. After high school, I continued my studies obtaining a diploma at the Academy of Fine Arts in Catania. These were the times when I gave life to my love for photography, shaped and polished for years when I was at “bottega” by one of the greatest Syracus portrait photographer, Aldo Palazzolo. Always fascinated by the human being, by the gestures, I focused my work on faces and figures, photographing faces, portraits and naked bodies. I have done many themed exhibitions telling emotions and moods, because I consider photography a therapy, a way of telling oneself, a means for me cathartic. I consider the experience and the knowledge fondumental for my life and my professional experience: following my soul I decided a few years ago to go around the world so I lived in London, a place I consider my second home, because for me home it’s where your heart his. Here I worked with various brands and fashion magazines, and then finally returned to Sicily in 2001.Since then I tell my land and people, I collaborate as stage photographer for INDA (Istituto Nazionale del Dramma Antico in Siracusa).
